1) Real Techniques Buffing Brush $17.99
This brush is great for buffing liquid foundation or powders into your skin (not so much for thicker creams). It leaves a nice finish on the skin, and I haven't had any streaking. More information about the brush can be found in its ChickAdvisor review: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/real-techniques-buffing-brush/
Real Techniques brushes can be found at Ulta & on Ulta's website (www.ulta.com): http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2229998&productId=xlsImpprod3220069&navAction=push&navCount=1&subdoc=6springathometools2012&categoryId=cat80088%20cat80084
2) L'Oreal True Match Foundation (Original) $8.99
This has become one of my go-to foundations. I'd even go as far as saying that it has reach HG status for me. The shade range is AMAZING -- there's no other way to put it. Besides that, the product quality is just superb. The finish is nice and very skin-like, and it doesn't oxidize. More information & opinions on this foundation can be found in its ChickAdvisor review: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/loreal-true-match-foundation/
L'oreal True Match can be purchased almost anywhere L'oreal products are sold: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2107813&productId=fs1017872&navAction=push&navCount=1&subdoc=2loreal8&categoryId=cat80022
The price tag is a little steep, but this is one of my favorite concealers. It's soft and creamy but still offers medium-full, buildable coverage. More information about this concealer can be found in its ChickAdvisor review: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/thebalm-timebalm-concealer/ Sadly, Sephora no longer carries the balm, but you can find it at Marshall's or TJMaxx if you're lucky. Otherwise, it's available on their website: https://www.thebalm.com/makeup/timebalm.htm
4) Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder $4 (Walmart)
Rimmel has outdone themselves with this powder. It's one of the greatest bargains in the drugstore. The powder itself is great quality. It leaves your skin silky smooth, and as it claims, perfectly matte. More information can be found in the product's ChickAdvisor review: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/rimmel-stay-matte-pressed-powder/ The Stay Matte Pressed Powder can be found almost anywhere Rimmel products are sold. Walmart has the best price, sometimes they offer 2-for-1 deals (Target does too): http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_query=rimmel+stay+matte&ic=16_0&Find=Find&indexId=13acf0709a2c&cdnHost=search-cdn.walmart.com&searchdropdowndiv=com.wm.module.305715.constraint&search_constraint=0
5) Urban Decay Naked Palette $50
I've been getting a lot of use out of my Naked Palette lately. The colors are so warm and rich that I can't help but associate them with Autumn. Most of us know that UD has great shadows to begin with, so I don't have much explaining to do. More information can be found in this ChickAdvisor review: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/urban-decay-naked-palette/?page=4#reviews The Naked Palette can be purchased at Ulta & Sephora or on their websites (www.ulta.com - www.sephora.com): http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2228983&productId=xlsImpprod3150103&navAction=push&navCount=1&subdoc=30quicksmokyeyes2011&categoryId=cat80045%20cat940003
6) Benefit Blush in "Dallas" $28
I'll admit, Benefit blushes are good quality, but the quality doesn't necessarily make them worth the steep price tag. To be honest, it's the unique colors that do. There's really no way to describe this blush, you just have to see it for yourself. It's definitely the perfect color for fall.. warm, rich, and scrumptious! More information & reviews: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/benefit-boxed-powder-in-dallas/ "Dallas" and other Benefit goodies can be purchased at Ulta or Sephora or their websites (www.ulta.com - www.sephora.com): http://www.sephora.com/dallas-P133173?skuId=892406
7) EOS Lip Balm (Strawberry) $3.29
I still don't get the hype about these lipbalms. The product is decent, but not amazing. To be honest, the actual lipbalm didn't earn it "favorite" status -- the packaging did. I sort of find that the whole "spherical" concept is rather gimmicky, but whether it's convenient of not could go either way. Smaller lip balms are ideal for throwing in your purse or just keeping around (in the car, in your drawer, etc.), but I always find myself losing them. The bulky, bright pink packaging of this lip balm has spared me from having to buy more in replacement for lost ones -- I can always find it! Check out some ChickAdvisor reviews: http://www.chickadvisor.com/search/all/?q=eos%20lip%20balm You can get EOS lip balms at Ulta or your local drugstore: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2221109&productId=xlsImpprod3490245&navAction=push&navCount=1&categoryId=cat80066%20cat1090001%20cat80178
8) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 003 "Mauve it Over" $6.99
I'd like to first mention that the color of this lipstick is nowhere near what it appears to be on Ulta's website, so I'll include a more accurate swatch. This is one of those "my lips but better" color. It's matte, but it doesn't dry out your lips by any means, and it's the perfect color to go with any look.
Some ChickAdvisor reviews: http://www.chickadvisor.com/item/revlon-super-lustrous-lipstick/ You can get Revlon lipsticks anywhere Revlon products are sold, like at your local drugstore or at Ulta: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2167477&productId=xlsImpprod1020032&navAction=push&navCount=1&categoryId=cat80058#sku2167479
I hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much for reading! xo
